 Jessica James works as the front-desk receptionist and is the Registered Agent Paralegal for Simms Showers LLP. Mrs. James manages the VA Annual Renewal process for churches and non-profit corporations; she ensures that they maintain “Good Standing” with the Commonwealth of Virginia by requesting, reviewing and filing corporate Annual Reports. Mrs. James also performs general receptionist duties including screening new business calls and directing each client to the appropriate attorney in a positive and helpful manner.

Mrs. James is a recent college graduate with a Bachelors in Meteorology and a Masters in Teaching. She joined the Firm in 2014.
